HTC HD3 skips a few numbers, expected to launch in October

Wednesday 1 September 2010 @ 3:11 pm

Anyone ready to trade in their HTC HD2 already?  A new leaked document shows that the HTC D3 should be ready for customers by October 18th.  The leaked documents appear to be from O2 UK’s internal launch schedule. It’s not surprising that HTC will be rolling out a successor to the HTC DH2 (one of the most successful Windows Mobile handsets to date), but HTC has apparently chosen to bump up the numbers a little to coincide with the launch of Windows Phone 7.  The new handset is expected to be named the HTC HD7.  It’s nice that HTC wants to take advantage of the windows Phone 7, but let’s hope they don’t do that same with the successor of the Touch Pro 2.
