“HTC Saga” gets shown off in new leaked picture

Monday 31 January 2011 @ 12:47 pm
Mobile World Congress is slowly getting closer, but since we’ve already spotted HTC’s next flagship smartphone in the wild it’s not too surprising that we received an email this morning with yet another shot of it.  This time around, the image provides a much clearer picture of the front of the handset and our tipster [...]

Verizon bound EVO-like HTC handset shows its face

Friday 27 August 2010 @ 4:53 pm

We certainly were not expecting to finish off a Friday like this.  Images of an unnamed HTC handset have just hit the web which show off a handset which looks strikingly similar to the HTC EVO 4G, but with a little extra style.  The HTC handset is expected to launch on Verizon’s network and will include a 4.3 inch display, 3.5mm headphone jack, an 8 megapixel camera with dual-led flash, a kickstand, and a front facing camera.

Basically, it looks like Verizon’s going to be getting its own version of the HTC EVO with a highly modified exterior shell.  We’re not sure what version of Android will be loaded onto this handset when it hits store shelves, but the words “with HTC Sense” embedded into the kickstand give us enough confidence to say it will not be running stock Android.

Video: HTC Desire HD makers its HD debut

Monday 9 August 2010 @ 8:50 am

It’s been less than 48 hours since the first blurry cam images of the HTC Desire HD surfaced on the web and how we have for great HD video of the handset.  Solo Palmari has posted up a short clip on their YouTube channel which shows off the HTC Desire HD’s new body.  The internals of the HTC Desire may be pretty similar to the HTC EVO 4G, but the uni-body aluminum shell that wraps around the handset gives the Desire HTC a look which more closely resembles that of the HD2.

In our last post we mentioned that the HTC Desire HD would not feature a front facing camera.  We may actually have to retract that statement since the video reveals a little block dot on the right of the speaker grill which was not really visible in the previous image that we spotted.
